As the Vice President of Development of Emory Data Science Club, I work with the cross-functional team(Communications, Events, Treasurer, Advisors and DSC members) to develop EDSC by connecting with new sponsors and opportunities for club members. I am in charge of Development Research, Communications, and more.
At Emory Data Science Club, we are trying to connect with experts in the field of Data Science, Data Mining and Data Analysis and we set up talks and workshops and provide first hand experience from the field to Emory students.

SunTrust is one of the nation’s largest financial services companies and works with consumer, business, corporate, and institutional clients. Mr. Lee will be discussing how he uses data and data science in his daily work, as well as giving students interested in the field an idea of the kinds of softwares and skills that are required.

Come and hear from Bob Baxley, cofounder of Anidata, an organization that leverages data science for social good. Mr. Baxley is the Chief Engineer at Bastille where he helps build systems to sift through massive amounts of radio frequency data. He joined Bastille in 2014 shortly after the company was founded and leads the Data Science and Signal Processing teams. He will be discussing his work with Anidata and opportunities for students interested in data science to better their communities.
